these noises are normal, i have both a fat ps3 model, (which final fantasy 13 broke)
It was such a quiet system, I loved it.
Ive had a slim for almost 9 months and it is SO NOISY

I got the same problem i contacted to sonys customer support please tell me if u know why that sound?

I'm getting the same noises. HDD searching noises, louder than normal, plus what sounds like faint beeps/squeeks. Various net searches tell me that this is the sign of an imminent HDD failure - regardless of whether it's in a PS3 or a PC or a laptop... HDD's all work the same.
Basically.. I'd back up your data ASAP.

mine makes the excate noise and it freezes when ever 1 try and play a game ! please help !!!

That's just the Hard Drive searching for data. It's normal. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between your hard drive and my PC's during the video.
