2011 Good Health - Good Business Award -- Steve Frabitore of Tupelo Honey

The Mission Health System Good Health-Good Business Award recognizes an outstanding senior management level individual for his or her leadership and contributions to wellness and improving the health of the Asheville community.

The 2011 award was presented to Steve Frabitore, owner of Tupelo Honey Café, for his involvement in the creation of the Amazing Garden of Learning for Estes Elementary School. This program incorporates learning tools from First Lady Michele Obama's Chefs Move to Schools initiative. Frabitore was also recognized for his partnership with MANNA FoodBank to help fight hunger locally and an innovative health insurance plan for his employees.

Ron Paulus, CEO of Mission Health System, presented the award.
