  • Dear Mr. Emerson - pt. 2

I know I am speaking for millions when I say that you and your works have consistently graced our memories throughout life, inspiring us! It is your mark in life that your works will surely live and endure into the future. Human-kind will be inspired by your music for centuries to come.

I feel personally blessed to have lived during your lifetime! Thank you for being who you are!

PS: For your info, I have not been drinking!

  • To the greatest keyboardist the rock era has ever known, warm wishes for a happy, prosperous and most importantly healthy Holiday Season and New Year. I hope to be inspired by many more of your creations in the coming years. Especially, with another ELP CD. You have a great following in Istanbul, Turkey by the way. An open air concert by the Bosphorus striaghts for the summer of 2011 perhaps ? All the best, Hasan Turemen

  • ELP is one of greatest thing happend in the music history, maybee the biggest

  • "County Down" is the title of an instrumental guitar tune by Phil Keaggy. The song is named after the place, of course, and not the other way around.

  • Dear Keith I'm not overstating things when I say that your music changed my life forever when a friend of mine first said " come and listen to this, it will blow your mind". I stuck a pair of headphones on and listened to Trilogy. Up till then I'd been living in the dark from a music point of view. Unfortunately, this was 1974 and I never had the good fortune to see ELP. I am still devastated about his however Youtube gives us an idea of what it must have been like to experience an ELP concert.

  • Keith is a God. Where are the artists now? He changed the world of music. Sad that he's been so sick, and probably there never will be another ELP tour. I missed the last one a few years back. Tell me... how is out there now that even comes close to ELP, or the old King Crimson, or The Nice, or "3"?

  • Crikey... I need a drink after that.

  • I like cheeseburgers.

  • Mr Emerson,

Thanks for all the great music, and memories.

I was a beginning keyboardist in the 70s, and you, and ELP, were a large part of my teenage years.

I had the pleasure of a front row seat at an April 2010 performance of E and L, in the Midwest of America. To top off the performance, I was able to get you to autograph my copy of your book. I'm 52 now, but at that moment, I felt all of 17 all over again !

    Thanks so much.

    Cheers !

  • Dear Mr. Emerson - pt. 1

You have touched me personally and your music brought me through a dire, desperate period of time in 1974. I was only 17 then. I became a musician partly inspired by you and had fair success in the industry (although in a more commercial vein). Despite this, my heart will always belong to Prog Rock (and also Jazz) where creative expression is infinite!

  • Brilliant! Love it Keith!:))
