this is one brave kid. i comend the mom and dad for the love for theri son and risk whatever they have to save theri son.i hope your son is healing prperly and is growing strong. WAY TO GO MAT!!!!

that is so awesome that his parents persisted and found a way for their son to get better. thats so awesome. these parents really love their son, i'm sure they know how other parents with children in this situation feel.

well problem is in many countries surgery for moya moya cannot be cured but thankfully new york has the right treatment i bet that kid matthew is doing well. Im so proud of him having the surgery at that age he pretty brave.

i saw this vid on the site. i went there to understand AKI few weeks ago. it is really bad deseause, but aki's strong and she did the surgery so she is good! ;D WE ALL LOVE AKI!!!!! hugs mikko

I actually snatched this from the moya moya web site (hope they don't mind) so yall could get a feel for what Aki is going through.

Wow. That is devastating disease. So pleased that there have been advances in cranial surgery that offer hope to these children.

Aki has this disease, and she JUST had the surgery on her right side I believe. Hopefully everything will work out for her. She is a super cool and good person.
