The only sure way to be certain of recognizing Christ when He returns is to transform & purify yourself into a Christ-like being. Transform your life through Christ & become like Him. Therefore, since like recognizes like, you are certain to recognize Him & being comfortable in His presence when He returns. The un-Christ-like will feel repelled by Christ & He will also repel them, since His spirit in His return will not be able to tolerate SIN or impurity. Only the pure in spirit will see God.
