Red Lions England Tour 2004
Zimbabwe's rebel cricketers sacked by the ZCU (Zimbabwe Cricket Union) launched themselves as a new team called the Red Lions. The team, on a three week charity tour of England playing friendly matches, to raise funds for The Cricketers Trust and The Zimbabwe Pensioners Trust.
On 16 July 2004, the Red Lions XI played Zim Select XI at a private school in London.

ZIM SELECT XI Andy Flower together with Henry Olonga are famous for wearing black armbands during a match at the 2003 Cricket World Cup, in a protest against what they called mourning the 'death of democracy' in Zimbabwe.
