so. about a month ago, jazz foundered. yeah, out of the blue. we caught it the day it happened, thank goodness. or it could have been much worse. we got him on pentoxifyline because we did catch it so fast, (toxin binder-flushes toxins out of the bloodstream), and had his feet on lily pads and wrapped. cold hosing every day for 2 weeks, until farrier came out with permanent shoes/pads.
before all this mess happened, we had worked out a deal with an AMAZING theraputic riding ranch for him to stay there for the summer. im working there, he was going to be used as a therapy horse in the summer camps. and i could ride him on their fabulous grounds. well we still did move him, after we got him stablized with his shoes and stuff.
this video kinda shows the place, and jazzy. he is not being turned out yet, the vet comes out thursday to check up on him, and hopefully give me a plan for bringing him back into work.

***sorry for the crapppppy quality, i made it on my laptop and had to render it as a WMV file instead of straight to youtube from vegas. dont have wireless at my house :(
