people who disagree with shooting halibut. ever seen a 50lb halibut flop when gaffed? imagine one 10 times that size. ankles break. legs break, boats get damaged.

For the guy whining about catching and shooting this fish where do you think that halibut steak in your grocery store comes from you bonehead. Great job bringing that one in, I am jealous, I grew up in Sitka and the biggest one I caught was about 140 lbs but it filled our freezer and we ate good for the better part of a year
