GarageBand for Windows is something virtually every PC user wished they could have. Apple made creating music from loops, using your computer keyboard to play music, auto-tune, beat matching, and the various components that comprise computer generated music easy. Unfortunately, Apple is never going to make a version of GarageBand for Windows. They simply aren't in the business of making software for Windows 7, Windows XP, or any other version of Windows. So here's the specs of the "Newer, faster $999 MacBook Air" 11 inch monitor, 1.6GHz dual-core i5 processor, 2GB Ram, 64GB flash storage, and intel graphics HD 3000 whatever that is, probably just some onboard chip. I got my laptop and PC last feb. My laptop was $350 with a 17" monitor, 2 gb ram, 500 Gb storage, 2.8 GHz dual-core i5 processor. My PC was $550, 6 GB ram, 1 TB storage, 3.3 Ghz i7. "A shit ton better", you're sadly mistaken.

@hicadoodle69 look at older core 2 duo macs on ebay. They might be in the 300 to 400 dollar range. Sure you can get a pc for that price, but a part of the value of the mac is the operating system and software like garageband.

ive been looking up garageband for windows for a long time, trying to get it... i have to just go ahead and download this though, cus apple is gay... why the hell dont they make a computer with a normal 350-400 dollar price that has stuff like windows, mac, linxus, all of that shit in one computer? seriously?! it would make the lifes of people like us alot simpler
