@KlavierPlaya No wonder your education didn't help you get a good job. If your resume is as badly written as your comment here, you certainly do not come across as a college graduate. Take some serious English courses which include spelling and grammar.

@jeff92677 and many teachers don't just sit back and relax for summer breaks. a lot of them go back to school to earn get a masters or they teach summer classes. to generalize all teachers as a bunch of sophists is pretty narrow-minded
btw, some lawyers make 400 dollars just by having a 5 minute phone conversation with their client. or a surgeon can get 500 dollars by putting a bandaid on you if you're in the ER. Yeah and teachers get overpaid with their 40-50K avg salary. gimme a break

@jeff92677 how exactly are teachers overpaid? Let me guess, it's because they only "work" 9 months out of the year and their work seems to be rather "easy."
You obviously don't know the real facts about teachers. Yes there are some who make six figures, but that's not entry level salary, that's acquired through tenure. Most teachers and college instructors I know have to work as adjuncts and get second jobs just to scrape by 40000 a year. a manager at McDs makes more in comparison

@KlavierPlaya Professors are paid too much. One guy at UCF is earning over $800,000 / year. For what ? Not running a huge business, just a moderate sized university in florida. Government money injected into education has created an environment where teachers think they are actually worth what they earn. If government wasn't there, they'd earn what private school educators earn, which is far more reasonable, and they're better teachers than government sponsored educators working for unions.

Students learn socialism and liberalism from teachers, who are overpaid for what they do. Most teachers don't know how to do anything useful, they don't understand free enterprise, they don't know how to create a product or service, how to meet a payroll. They are sophists at best, and not even good at that.

How is somebody supposed to get educated when you nobody can afford it huh asshole?
Talk about me getting a life?
I am currently paying off a $30,000. loan for my college education, some days I can't afford to eat, go out with friends, buy a new car, ect. Why? because I don't have a high paying job I make twice as much as minimum wage but, I guess thats what freedom means to a republican.
Work hard, get excellent grades, and still get shit on. Well that America for you my friend!

Friends I know with MASTER'S degrees, still cannot afford DICK!

Don't you realise that the way to a good economy is providing EVERY job with a liveable wage?
