A new GE with troubles the trouble is GE didnt put the slow speed softwere in the pc! This GE had no slow speed to it at the coal unloading dock and after 2 hours Ft Worth found out there were meany more like it they sent it to BNSF with out the softwere in it! Neather units had it! Lisen to it start up to!

  • @chefjavier Yes i agree, emd's are better, my favorite emd is an SD40-2.

    I have no favorite ge's

  • Slowly and slowly it starts up!

  • Slow speed is a nice thing to have but isn't necessary for loading or unloading a train, nor is it used for worrying about breaking knuckles. At most coal plants, the indexer moves the train so only the alerter needs to be nullified. No slow speed is needed.
