  • Si confrontino i seguenti capolavori pendereckiani: Te Deum, Passione secondo Luca, questo lavoro, Te Deum e VII sinfonia.Ci si renderà conto che quello che potrebbe sembrare la progressiva rincorsa verso il passato non sia altro che la ridefinizione di un linguaggio che ingloba le scoperte avanguardistiche in una struttura linguistica molto più ampia e complessa in cui le parti sperimentali trovano posto con i loro portati semantici devastanti al fianco di un vocabolario potenzialmente infinito

  • This is a true wonder to find here the complete opera in its first performing! I had recorded on tape the broadcasting made by France Musique in June 1979, unfortunately the quality was very poor (high level of noise, due to the location I recorded from), now I can appreciate it fully and am very grateful to you.
