Well as Roddick said, Federer was not picking up or reading Roddick's serve at all for once. I mean Roddick was serving solid, but I think those slight nerves that Federer had, really affected him throughout the match at crucial moments, because he did have many chances to earn himself break points but couldn't make a return in after getting 30-love on Roddick's serve many times. Part of Hewitt's game is to return the serve anyways, so he is a more aggressive returner than Roger regardless.

hewitt and roddick have a long history against each other so i thought it was natural but check out some of their other matches their just as great!!!

Rusty looked damn good... Too bad that thigh injury crept up on him late in the 3rd set tie break. A healthy hewitt could have won this match
