This Stirling Engine Concept is produced by a company out of Australia/New Zealand called Whisper Gen. I don't know if they have distribution in the U.S. yet. (Just looked and they don't.) If you are someone who knows about creating a distribution/servicing network for this in the U.S. please get in touch with them as this could help with a lot of the current global problems we are facing as a human species.

  • trollscience is trolling...

What is your heat source? fuel.

  • @mattocoupias I don't really understand what you're saying here. Can you please clarify? Thank-you!

  • @strive4impact No, I see it, too... at 0:26, the narrator says "a burning flow of fuel and air is used to heat nitrogen gas". This begs the question of what fuel is used.

  • @EarthRimRoamer21 I understand what is being said now. My understanding is that the advantage of stirling engines has been that the heat is provided by the focused energy of the sun. If they're using gas or wood or something else relatively difficult to renew, then this technology is not being used for it's true potential...

  • @strive4impact No I wish I've been collecting all the info i can for about a year and a half most companies have no funding So at a very high price you could get a prototype and i mean very very high but never fear theirs plans and patents all over the net some for free some for sale and it wouldn't be hard to use those and machine out your own larger parts the pre-assembled ones on the net are small and over priced

  • @TheMorbiousStone Gotcha. So do you know people who are commercially building the cam and pulley stirling engines?

  • @strive4impact direct the wobble yoke at the bottom is over engineered bs look up other Stirlings and you will see having a cam and a pulley is better

  • @TheMorbiousStone I'm not as familiar with this as I should be. What would be a better option?
