The Abasangiye Cooperative

A short film on a new income-generating activity for women survivors of the genocide in membership of AVEGA. The Abasangiye Cooperative in Kayonza produces textile and handicraft artisan goods and in the process provides an education, livelihood, solidarity and support for the women. The project is a partnership of Survivors Fund (SURF), Indego Africa and Foundation Rwanda. SURF is raising funding on buzzbnk to support other cooperatives of women.
