Toyota Supra vs. Corvette Z06 Drag Race

Supra with basic mods and stock turbos takes out z06 at the track.

Mods on the Supra were only Downpipe, Boost controller, and K&N filter.

damm the z06 needs a driver mod badly, theres no way in hell a z06 should run 13s. that supra would get dusted stock to stock.

@will21myers GTR is AWD any monkey can get an AWD car to hook it takes a real man with real skills to handle a RWD the ZR1 still beat it its a race race what you brought if you dont like the otherside using slicks than you use slicks also (put slicks on the GTR and it would still lose) and p.s just because it had slicks and a role cage does not make the car not stock if nissan doesnt like it then shut up and beat it and stop whining about it just do it

@trx420fm1 The ZR1 did beat it around again, but if you look at the information, chevrolet admits to using racing slicks and a roll cage, not a stock ZR1. and the ACR is just a beast. A car purposely built for the track. There's no denying that. But the 2012 GT-R beat both of their original times in semi-wet conditions. You at least have to give some props for that.

@will21myers after the gtr beat the zr1 at the nurburgring it cane back again and took the record back you should go look then the zr1 record was beat barely later buy a viper ACR so the gtr failed again

@trx420fm1 The zr1 was built and meant to be boosted then.... and I never said a supra could beat one. I'm a huge corvette fan. I grew up around them. That's why I was disappointed to see the zr1 be beaten by the 2012 GT-R around the nurburgring. And top fuel dragsters aren't even close to street legal? they produce up to 8000hp and go 0-100 in less than 1sec.  how is that even relevant? And boost is just the future. less emissions and more power. ford learned in 03 and chevy in 05

there is even a video on this page of a bone stock corvette z06 with drag radials doing 11.02 guess what that would smoke that 12.7 supra SEEYA no replacement for displacement:)

ooo wow it ran a 12.7 a Z06 can do that stock with a good driver and some slicks why are all the ricers soo impressed with a 12.7 1/4 time that is not that impressive for a car that has soooo mutch money dumped in it
