when i see i this i feel bad of my dad. 1975, my dad was teenager,but he is not lucky. at that time it was civil war. All people were living in the hell. They married with someone that they never met and never love. Im so sorry of what we had before. But now is too late. All cambodian r living in the jail without wall. we r living with corrupt leadership. I hope one day we can wake up from this bad dream.

Soon after country was free from the FRENCH, he built school, factory, road and many many more. It just so unfortunate that our country was in the middle to the super power ( soviet , china, usa). The king try his very best to be neutralize. Politice very compkicated.

not a criticism, but for any one who knows Phnom Penh intimately, the film shows the car driving in all directions of the compass. i guess Samdech only wanted to showcase the city to the outside world.

Phnom Penn had a population of around 50,000 in 1965; ten years later it had increased to around 2 million due to refugees escaping war and bombing in the countryside. Very nostaligic clip, nice clean looking urban area.
