Chyrongeek - that remote cam is not atop somewhere on 57th Street. That's on the side of the Empire State Building looking down 32nd and 33rd st

I think it would be much better not to have that voice-over at the end. It really ruins the music.

WCBS could have put the ending, "You been watching CBS 2 News in High Definition" towards the end of the track; somewhere around 0:36

It dates back from the early 80s as a voice over and in 1987 it was used as a title in the (c), as shown here ever since. (Never mind they are the only CBS entity since that time to not have Roman years in their (C) titles too) It could be quirky, but its part of the station for many, many years which brings a sorta uniqueness to it.

that too, something like wnbc's is fine with me, but having a logo on top of the copyright is stupid. and portions recorded makes me laugh.

what also ruined the close with the copyright title clashing in with the liveshot on top of West 57th.

Brian Lee sucks as a voiceover period.
And why do I feel that the newscast is really, really dated that most of its packaging dates from the beginning of 2003, while their other packaging from previous times lasted less than a few years? The set has been band aided with some prettiness for HD, but the theme, though its the Enforcer, but its really a 2.0 of the old News in Focus. I'd like to see some old school WCBS with the long lasting Futura 2 logo with the half sized eye logo too.
