A viewer asked me about one of my early videos, "Of Kinds," which I have been searchign for assiduously. Unfortunately, I haven't found a dvd copy of that video. However, I ran across this relic, an early video response to the unspeakable KassieDill. In honor of Durham, NC's annual Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, taking place this coming weekend, I reupload it.

You were doing so well until this video! You showed gay saints and straight sinners. Now, let's add gay sinners and straight saints and a real point could have been made. But wait! What about Bi and transgendered? What's a race? What's a gender? It's all shade of grey. Incidentally, I wouldn't call her a bigot. A bigot is someone who believe more strongly than a zealot. Uneducated might be a better choice of words.

What's the worst activity that a gay person could engage in? Hmmm... anal sex. But, wait, check YouPorn and PornTube, anal sex between a man and a woman is in about 80% of the videos for HETEROSEXUAL men to watch. Oral sex? Nearly 100% of those videos. Oh, golden showers and scat? Sorry. Not many of those for gay men to watch. So, what activity could they be guilty of? Kissing? Hugging? Gah! Hetero men do that in many cultures! Sheesh, is there /nothing/ they do that's heinous?

No doubt you missed many more during the first picture parade but one that sprang to mind due to the music is Marlene Dietrich. While she seemed to mainly have marriages and affiars with men (she kept her private life as private as possible) she was Bisexual. She was also a hero earning both Presidential Medal of Freedom and Légion d'honneur for her work during the war.
