Video shows a variety of helicopters in amazing maneuvers; including the AH-64 Apache Attack helicopter, Huey, Chinook, and Trex 600. The AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter, Flying Tiger, is the advanced AH-64D Longbow. It has improved sensor suite & weapons systems. It was updated with T700-GE-701 engines and a fully integrated cockpit. The first upgraded Block II apaches were delivered in 2003. Block III improvements are for 2008.

The Apache is the Army's chief attack helicopter and used for high value targets, such as destroying tanks, armored vehicles, and hard material targets. It can fire 625 rounds per minute, is called the long bow, and has two GE turbojet engines with interconnected transmission.

Also in the show were F-104 Starfighters in close dangerous formation, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the F-18 Super Hornet flying with the F-4U Corsair, and the B-25. The show included a shockwave jet truck and the AeroShell Aerobatic Team.

Also the Misty Blues Skydiving Team, Air National Guard C-130, and heritage and legacy flights.

Bomb bay openings are shown for both the Raptor and the B-25.

The F-22 Raptor, F16 Fighting Falcon, and P51 Mustang flew together in close formation.

The Dayton Ohio Air show takes place near the National Museum of the United States Air Force near Wright-Patterson AFB, the birthplace of aviation.

The Dayton Air Show features precision aerial maneuvers to display some of the world's most amazing aircraft. Some portions are so dangerous they have resulted in crashes - stunt pilot Jim LeRoy had a fatal crash July 28 2007. However the same aerobatics procedures continue unchanged in this year's show. Some of the demonstrations are at just below, or possibly at, supersonic speeds.

Another danger during such a low-altitude show is birds. Several birds can be viewed during this video. Birds are a serious problem during low-altitude flying. Last week geese over an airport caused what could have been a disaster. Chesley Sullenberger "Sully" saved the airplane and passengers when the airplane hit geese and both engines went out. He successfully landed the airplane in the Hudson River.

  • @gimmesumPT That's like saying you can't put out a fire without gasoline... You are an idiot.

  • Us people suck badly, its just incredible how you suck and are pointless fat slobs.

  • all of you anti-american pigs can go fuck your self for all i care. we came up with it first

  • FAIL, there's only one "laaaaaang boow" the others are not long bow's, which is typical of the american AH64.

The power plants are underpowerd and the army traded long bow capabilities for more weapon systems.

British Army AH64's use two Rolls Royce engines giving them more than enough power and are able to use the long bow system and carry a huge amount of weapon's.

  • too bad no one had any rocket launchers....would make this video way better.

  • Just once I'd like to see them open up on something instead of just fly in circles. Heck, they could set a few junk tanks out there or something and destroy them. THAT would be an air show!

  • @gimmesumPT typical american thinking ! if the world was governed by one government there would be no war. If there was universal justice, there would be no war. Germans started the great war against french and english coz those two didn't want to share the piece of cake. USA started vietnam war just coz communists thinks differently from them . You must accept difference to pretend defend peace and freedom.

  • Does the Canadian Forces use this? Just curious........Jorge

  • at 0:07 int that raptor??

  • and along comes the south african rooivalk AND F**kS the apaches s**t up
