Synesthesia (from the Greek roots syn, meaning "together," and aisthesis, or "perception") is a condition in which otherwise normal people experience the blending of senses. For example, a synesthete might see "3" as blue, "4" as yellow, "5" as red, or see certain colors when hearing musical tones.

Synesthesia is believed to be by some to be key to understanding metaphor, creativity, abstract thought, and other high-level brain functions, including the emergence of language itself ("booba" "kiki").

i believe synesthesia is a neurelogical disease that confuses your senses, hence, color from sound, smellls from sights, noises from feelings. its a really interesting thing. i believe i have a friend with this, i find it interesting.
