@osamiax33o Its like setting up a computerized can opener with variable can opening speeds. yes you could do that and spend an ass load of money on it but what normal person in their right mind would? America provides a simple measure to make great power at an affordable rate. plus if you wreck a "shitty" camaro or mustang, you can always find parts for it. I feel bad for the poor sap who has to call up Ferrari to have them hand craft a new piston.

IF you really want to get into it btw, americans suck at making power. They make AFFORDABLE POWER, Ferrari made 390 Bhp with a 4.3 liter v8. NATURALLY ASPIRATED. For the same weight, a ferrari or lamborghini could run a v10 or v12, and SHIT ON your camaro or cobra... NATURALLY ASPIRATED. The only advantage is cost.

Why does everyone have to argue Ford vs Chevy or Ford vs ANYTHING? can't we agree this is a beautiful example of american muscle? so is a camaro! so is the corvette ZR1... You guys are so caught up in a label that you forget what's important about the cars you are talking about. Every car has advantages and disadvantages, and there will always be one faster than the other. ENJOY THEM ALL
