Korg Monotribe review, test and demo with high quality direct-feed audio. Not recorded at a noisy music show unlike all the others :-)

  • can i save my work to a laptop?

  • @brewmondoe You could record the audio output to your laptop if you have some software (Goldwave [PC] or Audacity [Mac] are good free options), and I'd suggest an audio interface rather than your laptop's audio input, which is likely to be "noisy", if it has one. You can't save out sequences as MIDI or the positions of the knobs because it's all analog. Or analogue, for our British English spellers :-)

  • @horganator can i connect my casio ca-110 keyboard to monotribe?

  • @brewmondoe Yes. You could do it two ways. 1) Use the CA-110 to trigger the Monotribe's sounds by playing one of the automatic rhythms on the Casio and plugging its audio output into the Monotribe's Sync input. 2) Play anything you like on the CA-110 and plug the Casio's audio output into the Monotribe's audio input, which would let you filter the Casio's sound on the Monotribe.

  • Nice review

  • @redbirdsaraceno Thanks mate.
