  • Michael's book, Jesus the Fool, is a stroke of genius. It truly brought me to my knees, as I saw for the first time the true possibility of Loving through Jesus Christ, and how I've fought it my entire life in the name of "fitting in". Thank you Michael, and God Bless.

  • One can very easily separate the church and the bible, the bible and faith and the church and faith. So to state that that it is delusion and fantasy is a bit of an invalid point. Especial when in the light of actual scenarios with actual people that he discusses. He's not delusional in believing those thing happened is he. In science if you want to prove your point you hypothesize the opposite of what you wish to prove and set about disproving that hypothesis. This ideafails in issues of faith.

  • we could argue all day on whether the bible is legit, and a) ultimately disagree, being (probably) none the wiser for it, and b) not have actually addressed Frost's substantive arguments.

assuming the bible is fantasy, are all arguments advanced based on it moot?

in other words, is faith an argument?

  • The power and influence of his message does not modify how much 'delusion and fantasy' is in it.

I think it's fantasy because he attempts to use an ancient document written by men and edited by political motivated politicians and acts as if somehow these words should be respected as the words of some kind of omniscient deity.

The book he references is everything we would expect from a barbaric bronze/iron age culture. Blood sacrafices, whom to kill and how, where to worship, etc. It fantasy.

  • Why do you think that its fantasy?. I think its very powerful!

  • Delusion and Fantasy!
