A-51, Phenomenal for a Free Game

Area 51 is a rail shooter, very well made, which plays well even on older machines like mine. It even has zombies, like the now fashionable L4D, but these zombies carry guns and grenades! Unlike my earlier videos, this one gives a close-up look at some of the zombies, which came very close to killing me whenever I stopped to reload. Unlike many games with AI squads, your squadmates in this one actually do some good.

Unlike a lot of others, I do not claim to be an exceptional player and my videos are not intended to show off my skill. I intended to show that for a free game it is a phenomenally fun way to kill a few hours, and well worth waiting for it to download. My degree of skill is irrelevant, but thank you for your comment.

@OldFartKeyWester area 51 is not a rail shooter game. You are thinking of the arcade varient.

A-51 on anything else is a first person shooter.

And since when was it free?

@MrThembones Since Midway took two of their games, this one and one called PsyOps: The Mindgate Conspiracy and made them free downloads. Actually they are "ad supported" but I only get one ad at the start and one about midway through the game for like 15 seconds each, both for the USAF, which is the sponsor, so yes they are free. If you have a multi core processor you may need to tweak it to 1 or 2 cores to play it well, but my Pentium 4 played it well at the time.
