Long Live Avaloch

A song to protest the attempts by Trumbull Township Trustees in Trumbull, Ohio to close the Great Lakes Medieval Faire. Although the residents benifit financially from the Faire, the 3 Trustees have carried out a campaign for many years to ruin it for them and the paytrons and employees. This vendetta has cost the Township $60,000 in the last two years alone and has been going on for many years. I was at that Trumbull Township town hall meeting. They seemed to feel that because their job is just to write laws, not to interpret them, there is no accountability on their part. Grr.

You see with passion for the GLMF like this, our faire is not like other faires. we are more involved with our patrons, cast, acts, and such.

this shows to me that we will not take something lying down and accept it!!
