Chicago Now / Show Patrol 11/8/10
Chicago native Shawn Ryan ("The Shield") created the series, which is being filmed completely on location in Chicago. Chicago Detective John Folino serves as the technical adviser on the show, and has gotten about 80 real police officers and detectives work as the background actors. So most of the cops you see on the show are real. This is also the first series or film to use actual Chicago Police Department uniforms, badges and vehicles, Folino told me.
