No, Seriously, Vaccinate Your Children, You Morons

You really shouldn't need telling about this sort of thing. Immunise your children against horrible diseases that could kill them. Obvious really. From 1994 (note the newly-regenerated jumping man) and featuring the voice of Michael Gambon.

I've turned off the comments because I'm tired of being spammed by people (or more accurately one person, who really doesn't seem to like children much) whose paranoia already harms their own children and many other children they come into contact with, yet for some reason want you to make it even worse by joining them in boycotting medicine.

There's nothing whatsoever to suggest that vaccines cause autism. No-one knows what causes autism, but we do know that it's not something you can catch. It's not a disease. It's more a collection of co-occuring symptoms. The kind of 16th Century attitudes that people opposed to vaccination (and that such a thing exists still boggles my mind) hold have already resulted in renewed epidemics of Measles and Rubella, some near where I live. Surprise surprise, the same people immediately came crying to the government about it.

Moreover, every single study of Dr. Wakefield's claims - that's the guy who decided in 1998 that the MMR causes autism, based on a "study" for which he conducted research by PAYING SIX YEAR OLDS FOR THEIR BLOOD - has concluded that it's all old bollocks. Medical science in general states that there is no link whatsoever. STOP PANICKING. And certainly stop trying to frighten people into harming their children by omission.
