Was played at the Mecca like MANY great records, bit like Wigan before it started playing 'Pop Shite' eh?

Could well have been played at the mekkak, before it turned into a funky discotheque and tried to turn the northern scene into some sort of gay scene. Everybody conveniently forgets this era.

Class tune......not heard for such a long time. I happen to hear it at Wigan but not bothered in the slightest which NS club played it first. It was the whole scene that was great - not interested in divisions. I did go to the Mecca btw but not frequent and it was without doubt the groundbreakeer club.

New release in 1974 played by both Ian and Colin at the Highland room. I got three copies for a pound each on a visit to Chepo-cheapo's in Soho. Mecca Magic, Way before Wigan played it!
