Pre-CCSVI Liberation Walking

One week before I leave for Liberation in Costa Rica! This is just to show my walking with bare feet, I can't walk with shoes on unless I am wearing my AFO on my right foot. I use a wheelchair outside my home. This is also a very good day... I can tell because I grabbed my walker with my right hand without needing to "place" my hand on there and open my fingers with my left hand! Usually it's so contracted I can't do that.

For anyone checking back - I'm sorry I haven't done an "after" video, I've now had two treatments and am in worse shape than I ever thought I could be. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!

you will feel sensation right away, while you are still on the table.. ur right arm will come back to life, my fingers did on the right hand, when he opened the right jugular.

@omexmc80 Woot! Fingers crossed I get that too! I'm a little worried since I started losing that hand in 2000 and now it is completely limp. But I have heard of people able to use their hand again after many years, so I'm hoping!

I hope this helps and I hope it doesn't take long to see the benefits from it! If it does don't lose heart - it's been a slow go for me but I am seeing better things on and off - it's like a rollercoaster at present but it's worth the ride!

P.S. Have you tried an AFO for your drop foot or Botox for your hand?

@SRainbolt Yes, I wear an AFO all day, it is the only way I can walk back and forth to the toilet a million times/day! I just removed it for the video. It would be easier if I could put it on myself, it's a drag to wear ALL day! I have never tried botox for my hand. Hopefully I won't need to now!

I didn't get sensation back right away, or entirely even after the past 2 weeks, but that doesn't mean that it won't or can't happen. But, I did get much stronger and better control of my legs and feet. everyone is different, just don't be discouraged if you need time to heal :) best of luck Donna!
