I tell ya! these white British Soul singers are somethin else! Why do they have so much soul??? Cant find this in America...whats goin on?? Love it love it!

Because sadly too many American white female singers are too busy trying to be like Britney Spears or some misc. Pop artist... and the ones out there can't get radio play. And black soul singers are too busy trying to be the next Beyonce... and the soulful ones also struggle to get radio play. I blame U.S. radio and uneducated music buyers.

Really looking forward to having Alice on the Castle stage at the Big Chill festival :)

its a fucking travesty that people like alice have not been on jools holland's show! Why do we have to listen to children plonking away on a casio keyboard ( kate nash etc) and not celebrate the hard graft of singers and players like this who have made genuine sacrafices to stay in the game, against all odds and with a creative sensibility?????? This is the state of the music industry folks.... people like alice are rare! You're fantastic girl!!!! keep riding high!
