Join the Greens campaign at end-southeast-woodchipping.org - the South Coast Koala has travelled to Marrickville to ask NSW Environment Minister Carmel Tebbutt to save his home from woodchipping, and to close the Eden Chip Mill. **** Our thanks to production team - Samantha Burton and Naomi Bower, and to Daryl Morris and Malcolm Crook who wore the koala suits, and MaryJane Leahy for the music.****

  • Now our moronic Government is thinking about giving money to businesses to burn our forests for "Green" electricity. I am not going to pay extra dollars to burn our forest. Ring or write a letter to power suppliers and tell them that you will not buy power from them if it includes tree biomass.. Or talk to your state member of parliament.

  • get a job ya fuckin bums!!!! hahahahaha

  • So that explains where homeless people come from. They were originally living in trees.. that were felled.. and so they moved into the city.

  • Minister Tebbutt must stop the logging of native forest, the Eden Chip Mill must be closed immediately and the power station must not go ahead. I don't believe anyone who can comprehend the consequences of logging old growth forest could allow it to continue.

  • Carmel Tebbutt should be ashamed of herself - allowing woodchipping of the habitat of the last remaining koalas in the south east.
