This is the 2007 Honda VFR800, my third bike in New Zealand, and I have had it for about two years now. It has been done near 30,000 km so far without any faults. It performs like a sports bike with above 6800 RPM due to its VTEC engine, has never hesitated, when I need the power to overtake vehicles, and acts like a superb touring bike, while it cruises on the motorway due to its incredibly smooth liquid cooled V4 engine with two radiators mounted each side of the bike.

It has a single sided swingarm, which offers you a very clean look, and the design of under seat pipes looks radical and modern.

The combined brake system, which means front and rear brakes linked together, stops quickly and safely.

The high quality GIVI bag, a 100% water proof cover is included, fits perfectly on the back seat, about 32 cm in length and 25 in width, and it is sufficient for your daily commuting carriage.

Because the bike is more sport-oriented, some people may feel wrist or back pain for a long riding position, therefore it has been upgraded with the GENMAR handlebar risers and a SARGENT seat, so the long distance riding comfort has been significantly increased since then.

It also has a central stand for much securer parking and easy maintenance.

Overall, it is a very solid, reliable and modern looking bike.

  • I would say it is a good deal, I sold my bike three months ago for NZ$10,000, also a 2007, but with 32000 km.

  • Good luck with the sale, shipmate. I have a silver vtec which is obviously the colour to have as it is faster and better handling than the others. I ASSUME you are selling this to fund your purchase of a new vtec...

  • @lurcherlongdog Thax, i love the bike, will buy vfr again after moving to oz. cheers.

  • Wow I am so jealous, such a beautiful bike and color!

  • @ToastToGo Thanks for your comments mate, this is my forth bike, and I love this color the most, it has been three years with 30000km being gone so far, and still looks like newly released bike. Cheers.

  • Ive been waiting and wanting a VFR for years ... It looks like the timing is right this week. A 2007 5,500 miles on it, looks brand new for $5000.
