1.One of Hungary's greatest kings was raised in Poland and his mother was Polish. 1048-1095 Holy László (László in Hungarian means Władysław)
2.Grunwald/Tannenberg 1410: The Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund of Luxemburg wanted to aid the Teutonic Knights against the Polish and Lithuanians with a formidable army.Howewer the Hungarian nobles sabotaged the plan and denied to raise arms against them.
3.The battle of Mohacs 1526:(As important to Hungarians as Grünwald to Poles) Zygmunt Stary (Sigismund the Old), the king of Poland refused to aid Hungary against the Turks (they had a peace treaty for 3 years then), 4000 Poles disobeyed the order and rided toward Hungary. (Unfortunately it was late.)
4.Báthory István (Stefan) 1575-1586, a famous reformer king in Poland.
5.Józef Zachariasz Bem, a Pole (Bem József in Hungarian) was the best general of the revolution in 1848 against the Habsburgs (Austrians).
6.The WW II: Hungarian soldiers refused to fight against the Polish people.
7.1956.

Można stwierdzić, że zrodził się niespotykany w Europie fenomen przyjaźni i świadomości wspólnoty losu. Każde nowe pokolenie w zupełnie innych warunkach historycznych mogło powoływać się na tradycję tej przyjaźni, co wzmacniało pozytywny wizerunek jednego narodu w oczach drugiego.

Nie było powstań węgierskich ani polskich, w których nie uczestniczyliby Węgrzy i Polacy, a potem nie szukali schronienia tu i tam.

Poczucie wspólnego losu pozostawiło wyraźny ślad w literaturze węgierskiej. W XIX wieku nie było poetów, pisarzy węgierskich, którzy by nie wypowiedzieli się w sprawie Polski, tak samo jak nie było poetów polskich, którzy nie podnieśliby głosu w obronie rewolucji węgierskiej w 1956 roku. Polska obecna jest również w poezji ludowej. Po upadku powstania Rákóczego, które rozpoczął z Polski (tablica pamiątkowa przy kościele św. Krzyża w Warszawie), "biegli" do Polski nie tylko przedstawiciele elit powstańczych, ale masowo chłopi - powstańcy.

On March 12, 2007, Hungary's parliament declared March 23 as the Day of Hungarian-Polish Friendship, with 324 votes in favour, no vote against and no abstention.

On March 16, 2007, Polish parliament declared March 23 as the Day of Polish-Hungarian Friendship.

I know Slavs are very proud people, they should be. There is something Poland needs to do again, that is to make the right-wing rise again as Hungary have done.

EU is bad and want to destroy Europe. They want to cleanse Europe from it's native population with it's disgusting multi-culti propaganda. Don't let them. Komorowski is not patriotic nor is he a nationalist, he needs to be changed for a proud Polskie.
