The 2008 National Dinner: An Evening of Courage brought together LGBT business owners, corporate allies, local chamber leaders, government officials and community leaders to celebrate courageous women and men in business, government and community activism.

Supplier Diversity Advocate of the Year Theresa Harrison, Director of Supplier Diversity, Ernst & Young

Courage in Business Fred P. Hochberg, Former Dean of Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy.

  • Congratulations to my cousin Fred P. Hochberg, first openly gay person appointed as a Presidential Cabinet Member (during Clinton's Administration), for receiving the 2008 NGLCC Courage in Business Award.

    Another major Congratulations for being one of the seven LGBT people who are part of President-elect Obama's transition team.

    Fred, your father Sam would have loved this. I do know he was always proud of you. My mom and I miss him very much.
