@StefanoF87 I agree. I think this work would have benefited greatly by the use of a 16' pedal stop throughout.

le ancie al pedale infatti sono obbligatorie si puo dire, in questi preludi e fuga tedeschi altrimenti non si sente il tema al pedale

sìsì, hai ragionissima: è indubbiamente superato, però comunque quando lo ascolto non mi dimentico che dopotutto è anche vecchio di 50 anni. quindi per tempi, diteggiatura e, in parte, scelta delle registrazioni so che non sto sentendo koopman o la alain degli ultimi 20 anni, o weinberger o chi per loro... però, secondo me, quell'ancia, a prescindere dagli anni andava usata...

a parte quello, Walcha ormai è strasuperato, questo suonare metronomico e legatissimo sembra musica romantica.

in my opinion, in the pedal solo section the 16' reed could be used.
