It's always a good idea to wear ear protection when playing with a band (unless you play lounge / slow jazz with brushes maybe). You only have one set of eardrum :)

some drummers play very well your own style, and you play very well but you have spirit for any style, rock , funky etc , and thats its realy amazing, nice man!
