If you keep the speed up you can "zoom-climb" the jet (trade speed for altitude), and glide to a landing.

The jet is from Hobby-Lobby. Click on "RC Jets" on the left-hand side. It's not too difficult to fly for any pilot, but I'd recommend a trainer first if you've never flown anything. Unless you are already familiar with the hobby or you have someone to show you how to set everything up, get a model that is an RTF (Ready-to-fly) for your first one. Check out RCSuperPowers on youtube for more beginners advice.
