Most rock bands are like that. It's not American it's not Eurpoean, it's pretty universal. And to say the majority of American rock sucks is pretty lame.

You get sell-outs, and you get starving artists everywhere. Just listen to the music and don't worry about the rest of that stuff.

i love western rock, but i don't like american rock, their is more music west you know like in scandinavia, but i'm always disappointed in american bands it seems like they love the music until fame gets in their head and i don't feel what i use to feel, european bands are different tho. and also the majority of american rock just sucks.

I love all kinda rock, Japanese and Western, and the fact is, they're both around the same in terms of that.

When you're a small and little-known band, playing in the parks and squares for free is a great way to try and get known. It's not about caring about it.

If you notice, the bigger, more well known bands, generally don't put on free shows unless it's for a special cause.

People who argue Western or Japanese rock being better, or more genuine, simply don't get what rock is all about.

alot of jrock bands will come out to parks or squares and put on a free show...cause you know japanese musicians don't care about the money they do it for the music unlike the majority of modern american artist.
