Thanks, MEareCAT. Got my local carpenter/handyman to build it last year. It does, indeed, fit a dream & the hinged roof is very handy too. Unfortunately, my Socks doesn't like the cat flap so a good job we split the door into 2 (not in the design) so one door can remain open for "her majesty". But we are persevering that she will start using the flap...which involves plenty of catnip.

Brilliant! I love how it fits stylishly into the alcove. Very space saving and the platform underneath is cool too =]
