i live in Argentina, in a province called Mendoza. It's a province that hasn't much atention from mucisians. Well, Carl Palmer is coming to the capital of Mendoza... i'm at 300 km from there. From nothing in the world i'll loose the chance to see him... it's an strange opportunity, i mean... I'm gonna see Carl Palmer in a small city of an small southamerican country! Unique opportinity i'd say!

I got to meet Carl at The Asia show in Lelaneau Sands Mi., Super guy. I just love this clip from pictures. I see some kids on here posting comparasons between the music of now and the music of then. In my opinion the music now is total crap compared to back then. Everything now is all corporate crap that is made not for the music but for the opportunity to market a new clothing line or fragrance. Im glad there are still good recordings of when music was good.

Yea, you are right. I cop an attitude about the way music is treated today in the mainstream. There are still some really great prog rock bands around, they just get no major play from anyone unless it is on the net. I have seen E.L.P. 15 times in my life, the first being on the trilogy tour and the last on the Black Moon tour. They have always sounded great live and the playing top notch. I have to say that Tarkus and trilogy were my two favorite tours.

No man. Since that comment was eight months ago I've had time to think and to clarify the way I feel about music nowadays.
There is talent out there nowadays. There are bands that make good music now. I really enjoy some of them. But with the bands I love from the 60's and 70's it's not only about enjoyment. There's a feeling I have when I listen to it. I can't describe it, but I am incredibly attached to it. I can enjoy today's music, but it's very different to how I enjoy my music.
