The Blueprint wraps up.....

As the adventure comes to a close and his mission is a success, Bond's superiors can't seem to find him! Where can he be? Uhhhh.....maybe with the Bond Girl engaging in some water sports and leaving us with a chuckle. The film might be over, but don't be too sad - there are reassurances that we'll be seeing 007 again.

Thanks to all you Bond fans that have been following this series. Your interest and enthusiasm for Bond has been a real motivation behind these videos and getting to hear your thoughts and opinions on the films has been really cool.

Now that this project is finally done a much needed Bond break is in order, so it's time to work on some different things. There is still plenty to talk about in regards to Bond from here - new films, new actors, a new era - but right now I'll be taking a step away from 007 for awhile, Once my batteries are recharged and I'm ready I'll dive back into 007's world.
So this series will return. Stay tuned......

* I've been getting a lot of comments and questions about the recent news of Bond 23 being delayed. So if you want to read my thoughts on it they can be found at:

  • At 02:40 our Editor here (HaphazardStuff ?) chose a far better transition/ rollcredits music than did the director of TSWLM. That concluding line of Moore's is one of the better ones and the sort-of chorus-line music that followed was pathetic.

Almost as bad as playing the 'surging' Bond theme at the end of OHMSS, after the excellent tragic death scene.

  • I really enjoyed your series on James Bond ...can't wait for the next installment !

  • That was really great. As a fellow Bond fan it was nice to hear some insight into the series by someone who obviously really loves it. Looking forqrd to your analysis of the newer films.

  • what about GoldenEye his parents died in a climbing accident???

  • I believe that "Tomorrow Never Dies" was the closest to the Dr No to the License to Kill cycle. For an example there is an over the top plot from the villain, big blond hair bad guy, big villain lair and bond girl needs saving while the villains lair is being destroyed.

  • Well done, Agent Haphazard, on a masterwork of compilation, editing and insights- I just watched parts 1 through 10. If not for a trifling thing like copyright, I'm sure you could market this on DVD to the world.

  • Just wanted to let you know how excellent I think your whole bond series is. A really professional job. Thanks for summarizing the films so well. I will look out for more material from you on Bond in the future.

  • I heard that bond actually never had any scottisch ansetery at first. It wasn't till Ian Flemming saw what good a job Sean Connery Did as bond that he decided to add that bit of info into him as a..Respect or something to sean.

  • Amazing!!! Just got through yer Bond series... very interesting about that water backdrop thing you mentioned... which makes Vesper's and Bond's last moment together all the more interesting only this Bond girls final fate was vastly different than the rest...

Cant wait to see your take on post License to Kill!!!

  • At the end of every Bond movie, I stay to see "James Bond Will Return."

Im happy to see you did that as well.

Ive considered myself a guru on the Bond films, but you pointed out new insights to me. Much obliged.

Ive been in a stricken state throughout hearing of the current fate of the Bond films. Your thoughts?
