Mumford & Sons play new song Whispers In The Dark live at the Komedia Brighton on 6 October 2009, one of a series of dates on their extensive Gentlemen of the Road Tour.

Mumford & Sons awesome set also featured every track from their epic debut album, Sigh No More, including recent single Little Lion Man. The album had been launched the previous day, appropriately enough, with a hoedown at Standon Lordship Farm in Hertfordshire - with a special guest appearance from Laura Marling!

Update February 2010 : Hot news!
Sigh No More has finally been released in the US and the guys have played a series of well-received sold-out shows including the Bowery Ballroom in New York and Popscene in San Francisco. They even made an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman - playing a spirited (but censored) version of Little Lion Man!

  • When i saw them yesterday they came back on for the encore and brought out a banjolin and a xylophone and i was real sad cause i didn't think they'd play this, then they did and i was the only one singing, then ted shook my hand. cause i was the only one goin mental through it.

  • Haha! Good work. Glad Ted appreciated your efforts!

I'm guessing the song before Whispers was the Banjolin Song then - one of my favourites from the 'old days'. Don't ever let the Banjolin Song make you sad my friend! ;)
