My Xbox 360 Not Working!!

I bought this console from HMV and have had it for 3 weeks and the disk drive won't read any discs and makes a grinding noise when trying to read them! i am getting it sent for a repair and i also got 3 months free xbox live as an inconvenience! got to wait 3 weeks for it to get fixed though :(

I only put it up their to film the vid, so before this i had is laying on its side on my floor. Now I have the replacement one back it is standing vertically like the one in the video and its not had any problems so far!

just happened to me... in additon to having 2 red rings of death... this is some bull crap man... it was working fine for 3 hours and then it craps out on me... sigh...

if you have the choice, dont send it back 2 microsoft! take it back to the shop u bought it from. you are legally entitled to a new one. the shop then claims money from microsoft for the faulty one. I wish i would have done this!

It happens to me for a couple of games. But for others it works just fine, idk what the hell its problem is. |:{

i know whats wrong mine did the same thing.all u have to do is 1.open drive.2 pop the wheel that spins the disc off"the one the disc sits on" underneath youll see coils wrapped in wire.3 clean the outside of every coil with sandpaper "sides only" then press wheel back on til it pops in place....and you have it..."enjoy"(NOTE WHEEL IS KINDA HARD TO GET OFF! YOU HAVE TO PULL UP ON BOTH SIDES KINDA HARD BECAUSE IT SNAPS DOWN)THEN MAKE SURE YOU HEAR IT SNAP BACK DOWN WHEN YOUR DONE!!

u no wat happend 2 mine:i put the game in,and my controller kept friken blinking and didnt fuckin stop!!!!and wen it said press start on my game, i pressed start,and it didnt do shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!im really pissed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats what happened to mine and now i gotta pay $99 dollars to get this shit fixed but im trying to get the ring of death so microsoft can fix it for free.
