Excellent review and thanks for your comments re: zooming. I spent 8 years as a cameraman and now transfer film/videos. Two major operator technique problems: zoom and tilts/pans. Budding videographers need to study framing, zoom speeds, etc. by simply viewing general television programs. One key word: SLOW!
I have a question. You said not to put it on 24pf. On the HV30 we have the option of setting it to 30pf. I heard 30pf is the way to go. Whats the difference between 30pf HDV? Thanks
