Dispute a credit card charge by matching the charges on a credit card statement with credit card receipts, contacting the credit card company and asking for clarification about unknown charges. If the credit card company is unable to handle the dispute, contact a credit bureau with advice from a registered financial consultant in this free video on credit cards.

  • What, if anything, do you know about the interest received from a credit card dispute? I know somebody who had a credit card dispute. The money was refunded, BUT, along with $00.09 in interest. They said something about a vendors license, the IRS, being able to prove how much the interest was for, & the IRS holding their paycheck because this $00.09 wasn't declared. I can find nothing online anywhere about interest on a credit card dispute, so I thought I'd take a shot & ask your opinion.
