Lorna tells Lucas that she understands better than he thinks. Who wouldn't have hated her after what she did to his daughter? "But you're my daughter, too," Lucas says. Lorna asks him what he said, and Lucas replies, "You're mine." Lorna says there are a lot of things in this world she'd give anything to take back, but she wishes she never gave Hannah that tape of Jenna to play on Felicia's show. She knows it's a lousy excuse, but she didn't know the tape was a fake, and she and Jenna never got along all that well, and Lorna always felt like leftovers when Jenna was in the room with Lorna and Matt. Lorna then wonders why she's telling Lucas this. Lucas says it's because she wants him to understand, and he can. Lucas also tells Lorna he can accept what Fanny did. Lorna tells him that's a hell of a broad he's got for a wife. "Yeah," Luke says, "like her kid." Lorna starts to tear up as she asks Luke why he's looking at her like that. Luke tells Lorna that he sees her face the day she was born, when he gave her the mercury dime. He wanted the mercury dime to protect Lorna and bring her back to him. Sniffling, Lorna says it worked, and produces the ring she had made from the dime. She tells Lucas she's here. Lucas slips the ring on Lorna's finger as she chokes on a sob. He tells her that when he gave her that dime, he said, "Be safe, my darling daughter, until I see you again." Lorna holds Lucas's hand in both of hers and presses it to her cheek as the tears begin to flow and she chokes back more sobs. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
I wish Lucas never die.
