@bill055510000 He died in a car crash,November 6 1960.he and 2 other men also.One was unharned the other had to have a leg amputated.The other driver was a 19 year old drunk,it happened on a bridge ,no evasive action.Suggest you look up online wikipedia Johnny Horton,for better info.To short a career.Sad.
