A video I made from Lucas's perspective remembering the death and memories of his Mom Hinawa and his twin brother Claus who both died tragically in the mother series. I used some clips from multiple videos on youtube and would like to pay credit and tribute to the video creators hard work in the below credits.

Ok, why did Claus strike himself with lightning? He knew how sad he would make Lucas.

Actually, Claus didnt strike himself, he tried to strike Lucas and Lucas was wearing the franklin badge and Claus didnt know it and the bolt reflected back and hit Claus

@Jarimii Actually, I think Claus DID strike himself with lightning. I think, and here's my theory, by that time in the fight, he already knew about the Franklin Badge, since each bolt of lightning was being reflected back. So, he used that after he regained his memories so that he could go be with Hinawa. He cast the PSI at Lucas, knowing it'd reflect and he did it to go home. I think he realized that was the only way he was truly going to be free of the control the army put him under.

@kwf1 no when he took his helmet off, he was already in control of himself. he purposely aimed the lightning bolt so the franklin badge would reflect it back because he didnt want to hurt anyone anymore so he had to kill himself

@Jarimii Claus was probably mostly gone. I assume that the augmentations he took in becoming the masked man changed his personality and kept him from refusing orders, and his orders were to kill anyone who stood in his way of pulling the needles. He couldn't just stop fighting; his chimera side wouldn't let him. So he decided that the only way to keep from killing his brother was to be killed himself by the franklin badge reflecting his lightning.

@Jarimii Because he wanted to reunite with his mother (Who ghost actually did say to him 'You must be so tired, come to your mother.') after all the crimes he did. He knew Lucas was wearing the Franklin Badge and so used it to kill himself with a PK Thunder. It was then he reunited with his father, adorable dog and brother, who he hugged once more before his death.

waaah I can't myself! It's just so sad... I mean, I know theyre 8-bit video game characters but this just is....*cries* Hinawa.....I thought you would be alive again at the end(and claus) :*(

@Jarimii actually, the reason is that since he's been Porky's slave robot for 3 years and Hinawa was trying to make him remember that he is Claus, he then remembers, but the only way to free himself from Porky is to kill himself and go up to heaven Hinawa finally getting the rest that he needed. poor Claus... :(
