Fog Water project in Eritrea

This is a documentary completed by an Eritrean film crew. It highlights a fog water project in the mountains of Eritrea. Drinking water is being provided to a village by extracting the moisture from mountain fog.

Water from a fog collection system needs to be tested and managed as any conventional water source would be.

No - fog collection won't remove enough fog to make any difference. The system is designed to extract water only.

I wonder whether this is an Eritrean Innovation or a borrowed one? When we present such techs, we want others to learn about it and its benefits without politicing it. But yes Eritrea really needs this technology as there is less and less water (underground)
